ANFA President and AFC Vice President said that other sports in Nepal are being inspired due to football.
Speaking on NCell player of the Year press conference, the president said that the prize money Football is offering has affected lots other sports and are getting better day by day. ‘The individual awards we give are so good that even other sports in Nepal are now rewarding the best one of their sports which we did not see in previous years’, said Thapa.
President Thapa also thanked NCell for their continuous support in uplifting the financial condition of the governing body by organizing NCell Cup worth Rs. 2 million, which remains highest cash prized Knock Out tournament in the country, NCell Woen’s league and NCell Player of the Year. The president said that they will also introduce NCell Women Player of the Year in the near future.
Speaking at the ceremony, NCell’s representative said that they will talk about ANFA about further years, but for now the talk is still not clear. ‘This time last year, we were not sure about what will happen next year and this year it’s the same, but we hope the best will happen’, said NCell Corporate correspondent.
