RCT through the semis of the tournament

Rani Pokhari Corner Teams proceed to the semis as they knocked Boudha FC in penalty shoot out after 120 minutes went goal less.

Rani Pokhari Corner team has proceed to the semis of the ncell cup after beating Boudha FC on the penalty as full time and added extra time went goal less. Both teams failed to convert the chances through out the matches. This is the first time RCT has progressed to that round after Birthday Cup of 2057.

In the spot kicks Shekhar Limbu, Yougal Kishor Rai, Naresh KC and Krishna Kunwar scored for RCT to final the score 4-2. The attacking threat of RCT wasn’t seen in the match after the star trio Afeez, Amar and Yougal failed to convert the provided chances. Captain Dilip Chettri saved the day after saving hard shots from the Boudha attackers in the dying moments of the extra time. Boudha FC ended in the tournament making their head high, before the starting of the tournament no pundits had predicted Boudha to reach the knock out stages with inexperienced  and young squad. Boudha conceded only one goal in the tournament in regular time.

RCT will face MYA in the semifinal round of the Ncell cup.
