Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marsyangdi Club defeat Nepal Police club 2-0 to confirm them as the league champions with one game remaining in their hand.
With the victory, LH MMC has emerged as the league winners of 2070 and will pocket a cash price of 7.5 million. This is after eight years MMC have won the league title.
MMC dominated the play from the very beginning, however remained goal less at the end of the first half. Ritesh Thapa denied a goal with a super save on Dipak Rai’s effort.
The first half hero Ritesh Thapa looked weakened as he conceded two goals in the later half. Yona Elias scored in a header in open post after he judged a cross to place the ball over Ritesh who was off positioned.
Sujal Shrestha doubled the lead on a left footed free kick to confirm 2-0 victory for Manang Marsyangdi club to confirm their league title.
