Laxmi Bank Three Star Club and Nepal Police club end goal less as they fail to break the deadlock which gives MMC clear advantage at the top of the table.
Police club were in hurry from the very beginning as Bharat Shah penetrated utilizing an error from Sandip Rai in second minute of the game, however Bharat Shah’s shot was kept outside by Kiran Chemjong.
Three Star Club could not capitalize most of the chances with the notable miss coming from Yogesh Gurung in 23rd minute. Yogesh controlled a cross from Sabindra Shrestha however he failed to connect the final shot for a miss. Police in a similar way missed in 33rd minute when unmarked Ganesh Khadka failed to connect a ball from Nir Kumar.
The last few minutes of the added time in the first half saw some great misses from the defending champions. Three Star club went through a blunder in 59th minute when Santosh Sahukhala missed an open chance, Yogesh Gurung’s shot could bet both Ritesh Thapa and the Nepal Police club defenders, however Santosh mishits the open chance to let go a good one for Three Star club.
Jumanu Rai who was brought in for Ganesh Khadka in 55th minute failed to utilize a chance in 82nd minute for Nepal Police club as he did late to release an obvious shot which Kiran Chemjong got good time to judge back for safety.
With a draw, MMC now has three points clear lead with Nepal Police club that stands second with a game in their hand.
