MMC full back Nabin Neupane was banned for a year over a controversial decision from ANFA. Nabin who was accused of manhandling the referee was punished by the referee in the spot as he was shown a yellow card for the second time and had to leave the field.
MMC players support suspended Nabin Neupane, however no sharp action from MMC
Many Football Analysts, fans and media personnel showed their dissatisfaction with the decision and the fans did well to show up with the banners to protest against the decisions. Many Football players supported Nabin Neupane during the harsh decision on Nabin who got his first red card of his 17 years long Football career, but the very first experience was a harsh one for the veteran full back.
Although Fans, players, analysts protested for the decision that smells some conspiracy, nothing official was seen from the club itself. Manang Marsyangdi club even did not protest against the decision, neither had they stepped up for any process to reduce the ban for Nabin.
This could be taken in the three ways, either the club is afraid to speak against the autocrat of ANFA, or they find Nabin Neupane as a culprit or may be MMC and every other club are equally to be blamed in this unmanaged and arrogant management.
NIBL Friends’ club could be a good example of how they spoke against ANFA when they were not satisfied. They first filed a protest to take action against the referee, when their protest was turned down, they moved up for court.
Clubs must now speak if they are not satisfied with the decisions. We must unite to end up the political conspiracy in Nepalese Football that has always resisted in the prosperity of Nepalese Football.
So believe it, if MMC do not speak against this case, they are directly or indirectly supporting the suspension.
