Manang Marshyandgi Club was formed 31 years ago after Three Star Club and Thamel-11 were involved in the fight in the field not only in the field these teams are also called rivals outside of the field by the close ones and the fans.
The written history of Nepali league was not recorded ahead of the 2046 so the league after 2046 is also called as Modern League. In Morden league these two giants have faced each other 15 times and the result shows MMC as a stronger as they have won six times, Drawn five times and Three stars won for four times.
Only 30 goals have been produced in the league game played between these two teams in 15 matches. Manang is leading the scoring chart too with 17 goals as Three have only 13 goals. MMC were unbeaten against Patane till the second leg of the 2063 league. After 2063 Three Star is unbeaten against Manang.
This year these two teams faced each other three times in Knockout tournaments, two times inside and once outside of Nepal. MMC registered win in both tournaments in Nepal( British Cup and Safal Pokhara Cup) while Three Star won in the governor’s goal cup final in Sikkim.
