In the first match of the day played between Simrik Saraswati and Yeti Himalayan Sherpa, both teams failed to produce a goal and were forced to share a point. Before the match both teams had mathematical chances of proceeding in the super six, but now its finished for the both teams.

Saraswati started the match with full flow as they dominated the match with possession and attack, but the cross bar played vital role in stopping them from winning match. Saraswati had a bad luck as Dipesh Shrestha’s one shot and Pius strikes bar twice in the match. Saraswati had to change their goalkeeper in the match after Ashok Baral was badly injured after Ruchal’s tackled hurt him bad. The extra keeper was rarely tested by YHSC.
The highlight of the match was midway in the second half when Dipesh Shrestha stole the ball in the midfield and crossed it to Pius, who had to hit the target in open goal but he hits the sidebar.
Saraswati attacked well, but didn’t find the goal despite numerous good chances whereas Sherpa relied on their counter attacks which did not pay off.
It was the last match for the both teams.
