The goals galore started for Liverpool when their captain Steven Gerrerd lead the way heading the ball in the corner supplied from Luis Suarez in the 21st minute of the game before Sturridge found two quick goals to make it 3-0 for the home team before the end of the first half. Sturridge first made a fine finish past Tim Howard 33rd minute before a flicked goal over Tim Howard.

The second half started with an early improved game from Everton but Luis Suarez did well to dribble a ball for almost 30 yards he won in a wrong pass before making a great finish to continue his goal scoring form.

Sturridge could have made a hat trick in his name, however he over hits the shot in a penalty shot which came in a controversial decision from the referee.

The remaining of the game ddisplayedquite a greed performance from the reds with Sturridge making a self effort when Coutinho was all vacant before he was replaced by Moses who made another shot in his own.

The full time whistle saw Liverpool’s 4-0 as the reds did well to hang on to the forth position standing three points below Chelsea and three ahead of Tottenham.
