Sankata 3-0 Boys Union – Salyan and Rajeev Score in Sankata’s Victory

Boys Union is very close to relegation as they face another defeat in the league, which is their seventh loss in ongoing league.

Rajeev Gurung scored just before the end of the first half while Salyan Khadki and Anjan Lakhaju scored in second half in Sankata’s 3-0 goal victory over lowly Boys Union club.

Sankata were almost ahead in the 16^th minute when Afeez found the back of the net in 16^th minute, however the New Road based club was denied by the referee in the touch line who found Afeez in offside position.

Sankata got ahead just before the end of the first half when Afeez initiated a counter move and delivered a ball to Rajeev Gurung who made the final shot of the counter move to take Sankata ahead in the game.

Boys Union were in pressure with a goal behind, however they managed to get the first shot in second half but Binod Lama’s shot was not strong to beat Pierre who has been outstanding since his arrival on Sankata from last season.

Former RCT man Afeez continued with a terror to his opposing side but was unlucky to find the post in the 57^th minute.

Salyan Khadki who returned after 4 matches for Sankata doubled the lead for his team in 81^st minute and was followed by Anjan Lakhaju who scored in a rebound when Afeez’s shot was first saved in a goal line.
