Laxmi Bank Three Star Club remained the superior side from the very beginning when they took on Simrik Saraswati Youth Club. The first attack came in 10th minute after couple of midfield display as Bikram Lama placed the ball directly to goal keeper’s hand on a ball crossed from Jagjeet Shrestha.
Saraswati almost got the first got in 33rd minute; however the linesman found Sunil Khadka in off position who did well to convert a ball supervised in from Bobby.
Santosh Sahukhala puts his team ahead in 42nd minute on a sent in from Jagjeet Shrestha to make the first half score 1-0 up for stars.
It was Three Star that traced its name in attack in the second half, the first one in the later half coming in a free kick from Jagjeet Shrestha who shot just from the edge of the boc was punched away for safety by opposition goalkeeper Ashok Baral.
Saraswati failed to create any equilizing attempt, however the defending champions Three Star continued with their attack. Dodoz made a fine effort from a tight angle in 59th minute which was a victim of a fingertip save from Ashok Baral.
Further attacks from the stars came in 82nd minute when Dodoz’s long ranger went just over the bar. Santosh Sahukhala made an attempt in addition time of second half, however his shot on ground went inches close to the bar.
This is third victory for Laxmi Bank Three Star club so far in the league while third defeat as well for the losing side Simrik Saraswati Youth Club.
