Nepal APF continues fine run in the league while RCT are at the bottom as a three points deductions looks hefty for RCT.
The match remained a comeback for Bishal Shrestha who was shown a red card on a broil against NIBL Friends Club.
Nepal APF got the first chance in the game with Jangbu Sherpa getting a rebound ball which he failed to direct to the target in ninth minute to miss out an opportunity for APF.
The first half remained remarkable for Nepal APF who was able to grab a lead in the closing minute of the first half after series of attacks. The 20th minute ball forward from Nabin Lama was followed by a shot from Jangbu who found his shot passed close to the far post.
APF found the lead in the additional time of the first half to end the half 1-0 when their number 9, Ranjan Bista was able to control a ball coming from center to place it in the net.
The second half started with a goal from RCT as Suman Lama does well to beat Amrti Chaudary placing the ball in the second bar in the 53rd minute to level the score.
APF started to build pressure in their opponents to find back the lead, their determination yielded result in 64th minute when Ranjan Bista scored his and the team’s second goal to confirm a victory for high flying APF.
