Laxmi Bank Three Star Club come back twice from a goal deficit as they stop Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club in a 2-2 draw.
Three Star came up with early challenge in the game when a free kick delivered from Jagajit Shrestha in 12th minute was headed wide by Dodoz, however Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club found the first goal early when Segun scored directly on a free kick from 20 yards beating both the wall and the keeper.
Three Star remained cautious to search for the goal as their 30th minute attempt in the form of Nirajan Khadka’s shot from the edge of the box was well denied by the keeper. Stars remained unlucky six minutes later as Jagjeet Shrestha’s free kick was denied by the cross bar.
The end of the first half whistle saw all leveled as Santosh Sahukhala scored in a first touch from a ball delivered by Jagjeet Shrestha in forth minute of the additional time to make it 1-1.
Himalayan Sherpa got the lead in 51st minute for the second time in the game as a free kick from almost center delivered by Heman Gurung was headed in by Laxman Ruchal which could beat Kiran Chemjong who was not at his best. However they could not hold onto their lead to concede two minutes later when Binay Shrestha could do nothing on a shot from Sabindra Shrestha that was stroked from the edge of the box.
Three Star dominated the remaining period of the game in search of a goal but the full time followed by eight minutes of extra time was not sufficient for stars to find the rebound.
