Simrik Saraswati YC hold onto their first half lead as they edge pass Samsung Jawalakhel Youth Club to collect all available points in the game. The match turns out as a birthday gift to Tanku Lama who scores in a win for Simrik Saraswati.

Saraswati Youth Club controlled the attack right from the beginning as they could create pressure to their opponents. The pressure resulted to be fruitful as Saraswati Utilized defensive flaw in 18th minute as Ramesh Ghishing made a cool finish lowly to the far corner making on a singly handed effort followed by a run from the left.

Simrik Saraswati Youth Club goalkeeper Ashok Baral did well to keep out Pradip Maharjan’s shot just from outside the box to hold on to their lead in the 38th minute.

Tanku Lama doubled the lead for Saraswati in 44th minute just five minutes later his first shot on target was well denied by Bikesh Kuthu. The birthday boy did well to beat couple of Jawalakhel defenders before placing the ball clinically in the nets to make the first half 2-0 for Saraswati.

Jawalakhel that remained 2-0 back at the end of the first half did well to create pressure to their opponents in the second half. They halve the deficit on a perfect long ranger from Ram Thapa who scored in 68th minute to bring Jawalakhel back in the game.

Their effort for an equalizer came in 84th minute when Saurab Magar could beat few defenders but his final shot was denied by Saraswati goalkeeper Ashok Baral who could save their lead for full three points.

With a win, Simrik Saraswati now has 7 points in their name while Samsung Jawalakhel has four with a win and a draw in their four matches.
