Maidan football celebrates first anniversary

Maidan Futsal celebrated its 1st anniversary Saturday Evening in its own premises. Built with perfect precision to meet the demands of the players, Maidan futsal has a high quality turf, state of the art ground, vivid lightnings admirable washroom amenities and a sports lounge that complements the amusement of the sport.

Marking year of its establishment Maidan Futsal organized couple of Futsal matches where Nepal Sports Journalist Forum fielded two teams and Bajeko Sekuwa had team of their own. Maidan Futsal also had their team on field and they registered 6-2 win over NSJF ´B´ captained by Govinda Regmi. NSJF’s another team were not along the same line as A team under captaincy of Anil Bogati overcame Bajeko Sekuwa 6-0 in the second friendly match. The founders of Maidan Futsal were ecstatic with the support they got and were happy that their hard work  made this day possible. ‘The effort they put in during the construction phase was hard but they knew what they were up to and the day they laid own the pitch, they were happiest people on the plane.

Maidan was opened a year back on December 9th 2012 by 9 young people. Namely, Atit Adhikari, Amit Adhikari, Avash Ghimire, Mahima Khanal, Eliza Shrestha, Pranab Mahat, Ayushya Narsingh Rana, Sagar Satyal and Prakiran Shrestha. the whole team is aged between 21-25 years of age. and are all the products if Ace institute of management and ace higher Secondary.
