Boys Union Stuns TSC to enter Ncell Cup 2070 Semis

Boys Union Club stuns Laxmi Bank Three Star Club in the Ncell cup 2070 quarter final to enter the semis of the tournament. They join Tribhuwan Army club in the first semifinal match which will be played on Saturday.

The final result turned on the side that remained comparatively inferior to their opponents Laxmi Bank Three Star Club which performed way below their caliber.

The first goal in the game came only in the second half after a fine 30 yards strike from Biraj Maharjan in the 51^st minute as TSC missed couple of great chances in the first one, the most remarkable miss coming from Prakash Budathoki who failed to strike on the frame from the edge of the 5 yards box.

Ashim Jung Karki made it all square for Boys Union in the 68^th minute with a cool finish that touched the bar before entering the net.

Boys Union’s victory was confirmed after they were able to hold onto their lead which they got in the 78^th minute of the game, Binod Lama making fine use of the assist from Ashim Jung karki.

Three Star Club coach Anjan KC agreed on Boys Union boss Bijay Maharjan’s words who claimed that TSC were overconfidence to underestimate Boys’ Union club.
