Ncell Cup 2070 – Anil Gurung Confirms MMC Victory over Boys Union

Anil Gurung’s first half goal remained the decisive one as MMC edge pass Boys Union 1-0 to collect first three points.

The first goal in the game came from Anil Gurung whose acrobatic effort on Rupesh KC’s assist was the first goal in the game. Rupesh KC could do well to beat the defender on the right side; his delivery was justified by Anil Gurung who made a bounce shot that turned into the goal.

The game remained dulled later, however MMC could play a possession football, not letting Boys Union to comeback in the first half.

The second half continued MMC dominance in posession, however could not produce any chances until the last 10 minutes of the game that remained comparatively competitive. Sujal Shrestha’s effort on a free kick from 30 yards kissed the cross bar in 80^th minute, meanwhile Ashim Jung Karki’s hand ball shout against Sagar Thapa was overruled which made the final score 1-0.

MMC and Boys Union club are adjudged along with Saraswati Youth Club in Group C.
