Nepal APF club bear 2-0 defeat against NMB Machhindra in a friendly match played in Lab School ground, Kritipur.
NMB Machhindra coach Johan Kalin adds first victory on his name as NMB Machhindra defeats APF 2-0, thanks to either half goal from skipper Karna Limbu. The first goal came in the first half as Machindra were awarded a spot kick, which Karna Limbu converted with an easy to take the lead. Although APF remained the better side with the ball in first half, they could not convert any chances, trailing at the end of first half.
The second half remained competitive, with NMB Machhindra displaying an improved game, however the second half substitute Victor missed couple of chances before Karna Limbu made a cool flicked finish to strengthen his team’s lead. Nepal APF made quite a few notable misses which could have brought them back in the game.
The APF team has been training together since 20 days while Machhindra could only set themselves together for a week.
NMB Machhindra are grouped with NIBL Friends club and Yeti Himalayan Sherpa club while Nepal APF plays Nepal Police club and Laxmi Bank Three Star club in the Ncell cup that kicks off on second December.
