Bimal Gharti Magar – I will improve in Next Game

Bimal was handed arm band in the qualifiers, the U16 star believes he coud not give his best and will try harder against Iran.

Bimal Gharti Magar who replaced Hemant Thapa Magar as the U-16 captain could not give his best in Nepal’s 2-0 win over Bahrain as he failed to convert couple of chances.

Although the team won under his first match as captain, Bimal believes he did not play at his best and will try harder when Nepal will play its second match against highly rated Iraq.

“I could not play very well, I will try harder in my next game” , Bimal told reporters on a post-match conference.

Nepal will face a tough challenge in the second match when facing Iraq who defeated  Turkmenistan 8-1 in the group opener.
