Fiorentina begin their quest in the Europa league with a home game against the Portuguese side Pacos Ferreira.
The 1990 finalist will invite the Portuguese side at Stadio Artemio Franchi where they will star their campaign for Europa league this season. They will be without former Bayern Munich star Mario Gomez who will be absent followed by his knee injury caught during Fiorentina’s 1-1 draw at home with Cagliari on Sunday.
A disappointing pre-season campaign preceded a run of six consecutive competitive defeats to leave Pacos out of the Champions League and sitting bottom of the league, meaning that Vincenzo Montella’s men will surely be licking their lips in anticipation.
