The political situation of Nepal in present context is not good. Some political parties have been favoring for the federalism which may tear the nation apart. Federalism has become an agenda for them to win the votes of the minority groups. These might bring clash between different caste groups in future. But when it comes to football, all their differences disappear. When the national team is playing on the field all the Nepalese come together for the support of the team. But there are a lot of things all the people including the politicians need to learn from the current Nepali squad which comprises of players from different community.

United Nepali Fans

The nation cannot be safe until its defense is strong. The goal line is checked by a Limbuwho tries to stop the opponents from scoring goals. The defensive lines are held by Newar, Rai and Chettri who tries to stop the invasion of the opponent striking force from marching towards their goal. The midfield area is covered by Thakuri, Chettri, Tamang and Newar. They are the backbone of the team and builds up the strategy for the attack on opponent’s goal. The whole game depends mostly on them and is responsible for taking up the tactics provided by the manager. The striking force of the team consists of Rai, Gurung, Magar, Newar and Bhujel. They try to break the opponents defence and score some goals. In football goal is what matters so these strikers have to be upto their mark and try to score. But the most important thing is teamwork. No matter how good a player is, without a teamwork they cannot succeed. And if any of these players commits a mistake or breaks off from the team then the opponent will get the upper hand and maybe score a goal. It is what we need to learn from football that without unity we will just fall into pieces and even the weakest of opponent can beat us. With unity we can fight hard and win over strong team like we did today against India. The national team comprised of different caste groups with unity and teamwork has come as a strong contender to lift the cup. So we, the people, need to learn that in unity there is strength and with strength we will progress.  May Nepali national team progress more and hope to see United Nepal. Jai Nepal! Jai Nepali Football!!!
