Nepal is currently leading the group table with four points and wants to finish the group stage as group winner. Sagar Thapa speaks with givemegoal.com ahead of tough task as Nepal face defending champions tomorrow.
“We will definitely try to win the match but we also don’t want to loose the match at any cost. Although we can finish in top even if we finish the match in draw, we want a win. We must be aware of Indian tomorrow as they are the defending champions.” , Sagar told givemegoal.com in an exclusive talk.
When asked about the oppositions’ best player in the tournament and player who needs to be marked well tomorrow, the captain fantasctic said, ” The new players are holding ball for India and we need to stop them in the Indian squad which includes Jeje and Mehtab.”
Sagar believes Nepalese central backs will be capable to stop Indian star striker Sunil Chettri tomorrow.
