Nepali National Team will be playing against Pakistan in fifth match of the eighth SAFF championship. Currently Nepal is leading the table with 3 points and Pakistan is still searching for a point. Pakistan lost their first match 1-0 against India while Nepal won 2-0 against Bangladesh. If Nepal wins the match they will put their one foot in the knock out stages.
Jagjit Shrestha is doubtful because of his injury in the first match. He might be replaced by Prakash Budhathoki and remaining line-up might be unchanged for both teams.
Nepalese defenders have to be prepared for a fierce battle with the Pakistani players, who will be surely in an aggressive mood to get a win from this game. Both have their chances of winning this one, a lot of it depending upon the midfield battle!!
Nepal has won 5 times while lost 4 in the 13 matches played against Pakistan. Under Jack, the present coach, the record is not impressive, as Nepal has suffered defeats on both occasions, by a narrow margin of 1-0.
