Dil Kaji Gurung: My Players Lacked Coordination

Stopped in a draw against Madhyapur, Friend’s fortune now completely depends on three star and APF. Friend’s coach Gurung insisted that their players lacked coordination which costed them hard time in Ncell cup.

Got defeated in their first match and settled draw in their last, Friends club now completely rely upon the match between  APF and Three star. Coach Dil Kaji Gurung stated that the players were not able to deliver 100% due to various level of standards players have in the club.

Gurung said, “We have different levels of players in the club. Having entry level players and national team players play at same team, it is difficult to build up co-ordination. This was the main problem in our team this tournament. I got many things to learn here and this knowledge will help us in coming commercial tournaments and the League.”

Friends came from behind in their last match of the group stage against Madhyapur through 58′ minute free-kick from Nirajan Khadka.
