RCT start Gurkha cup with a win as Suman Lama fired his team ahead in 79 minute while Dilip Chhetri’s save added value in the win.

Amar Dangol initiated the scoresheet just 30 second after the kick off and RCT enjoyed the lead till the end of first half after Dilip Chhetri’s double save on a penalty kept the lead for the winning team.
Top Bahadur could have easily equalized had he got to Lawati’s cross in 12th minute but their fortune remained unflavored as Dilip Chhetri denied equalizing chance as he saved both Ganesh Lawati’s penalty and Top Bahadur’s rebound one at a time to keep the lead till the end of first half.
APF got equilizer in second half as Rajendra Rawal scored from a tight angle in 54th minute.
APF enjoyed most of the possession in second half but they missed few chances one of which was Lawati’s 65th minute miss as his curled shot went off target.
APF were stunned in 79th minute as substitute Suman Lama scored brilliant decider followed by delightful celebration and his goal remained the decisive one of the game as APF could not capitalize their chances in rest of the time in the match.
