AFC slaps ANFA with 6000$ fine for fans unsupported behavior in home matches in AFC Challenge cup qualifiers at Dasarath Rangashala.

AFC fines ANFA with 6000$ fine as a fan launched his mobile towards the referee in AFC Challenge cup group D match against Bangladesh played at Dasarath Rangashala. Nepal lost the match 2-0.

The AFC disciplinary committee has reached to the  decision prior to May 14 meeting and has ordered ANFA to pay up the bills within 30 days.

Here is AFC statement as read in AFC official website:

1. All Nepal Football Association is ordered to pay a fine of USD6000/- for violating Article 67 par. 1 and par 3 of the
AFC Disciplinary Code (hereinafter the “Code”).

2. All Nepal Football Association is ordered to settle the fine within 30 days from the date of this decision is
communicated in accordance with Article 15 par. 3 of the Code.

3. All Nepal Football Association is also ordered to inform AFC on the security measures that the Association has
taken to ensure such incident does not occur in future and whether the Association has identified the perpetrator and
the sanction that has been taken against the perpetrator.

In above picture, AFC representative investigate after linesman’s complaint. Later the object was confirmed to be butterfly but soon after this incident, one of the fan projected his mobile phone to the linesman.
