Mathieu on trail with Sporting

Barcelona’s Jeremy Mathieu is set to spend his summer holiday on trial with Portuguese side Sporting CP. The successful trail will lead to Camp Nou exit this summer transfer window.

There has been speculations surrounding the Mathieu’s future and he is set to leave the club after three years with the Spanish giants.

FC Barcelona has granted permission for defender Jérémy Mathieu to train on a trial basis during his holidays with Sporting Club de Portugal,” read an official statement from the Catalan club.
