Southampton Football club believe Liverpool have over approached to convince Virgil van Dijk as they believe the club have made an illegal approach in a bid to sign highly rated defender.
Although the club has made number of transfers over the years, Saints believe Liverpool’s approach to convince Dijk has been over the line.
Premier League later confirmed , ‘Southampton have raised some concerns and we are in turn raising them with Liverpool.’
Van Dijk is expected to make a move to Anfield over Chelsea as the defender has been impressed in Klopp’s involvement on pursuing him.
Liverpool are expected to break the bank, breaking their transfer record of bringing Andy Carroll back in 2011 as they are expected to invest £60m with £200k-a-week wages for the Netherlands international. Although there are news circulating, there are not any personal terms agreed with Liverpool and the Netherlands international.
