Torres hopes to remain at Atletico for years to come

Former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Fernando Torres reveals he sees himself wearing the Atletico Madrid shirt for years to come. Despite his contract running out at the end of the season, the 33 years old Veteran striker believes he will renew his contract and stay at his boyhood club at the end of the season.

At the age of 33, people believes that its an end of his career for the highest level of football, but the Spaniard believes otherwise.

“Everyone knows my wish,” he explained at the launch of the book ‘Who said anything about surrendering?’. “I can carry on wearing this shirt for many years.

“The club knows. It is in their hands.

“We speak from year to year.”
