Manchester United has announced that their midfielder Juan Mata has completed surgery on groin injury. The news come troubling Mourinho who is already without his key players Smalling, Jones and Paul Pogba.
Smalling and Jones picked up injuries during their international duties with England National team. The injury comes a big blow to Mourinho who is already without key players during United’s invitation to West Brom in the Premier League.
A club statement said: “Juan has had surgery for a groin injury. Further updates on his recovery will follow in due course.”
Apart from injuries, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ander Herrera are still serving their bans which makes a big problem for United that remain in top four chase and compete at the Europa league competition.
Mata is Manchester United’s top goal scorer after Zlatan. He has 10 goals in all competition for Manchester United.
