Joe Hart to Captain against Lithuania

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe hart will wear the arm band when England will take on Lithuania in their world cup qualification clash.

While Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney did not make into Gareth Southgate’s squad and Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is out injured, the responsibility will be passed onto Hart who is on loan at Italian Serie A side Torino FC from Manchester City.

Liverpool defender Gary Cahill was handed the responsibility in mid-week when England suffered 1-0 defeat against Germany in friendly match.

Hart has played 28 games so far this season with Torino which remains in 10th position in Serie A.
