Asserting that he doesn’t owe anyone anything, Argentine football legend Diego Maradona has reiterated his refusal to pay tax debts to Italy amounting to more than 40 million euros.

In an interview published by Italian newspaper Corrieredella Sera, the Argentine said the Italian authorities have been unjustly claiming more than $43.9 million for the last 25 years, including 35 million euros as penalties for alleged tax violation that has been considered non-existent by all judges.
