French forward Antoine Griezmann has been named as a best player of the UEFA Euro 2016. Griezmann scored 6 and assisted 2 times through out the tournament.
The 25 year old Griezmann also won the golden boot despite failing to win the final against Portugal. Although France lost the final the performance by the Atletico man was noticeable. Griezmann has to take the command of attacking after French FA decided not to include Karim Benzema due to controversy.
Griezmann scored two each against Germany and Republic of Ireland which was enough for host to reach the final of the tournament.
“Antoine Griezmann was a danger in every preoccupation he played. He locks in for his match and has technique, vision and quality wrapping up. The particular spectators were in predictable assention that he was the opposition’s surprising player.” said the chief technical officer of the UEFA
