“Spurs in better position to win league”

Spurs are in flying form as they are first time in the race for the premier league as they are just two points away from the league leader foxes. Talking with skysports after winning 2-0 against relegation battling Newcastle United Pochettino stated they are in better position to win the league.

Former Argentine captain said,” We are in a good position but there’s eight games and 24 points still to play for. It’s a lot of points, still. We are in the race and win has been important.”

He added.” Our supporters are right to dream and we need to dream, but keep working hard because that’s the most important thing, Football is about a lot of stuff – mentality, fitness, strategy, a lot of things. We have to improve in a lot of areas.”
