Chelsea’s captain John Terry is running out of contract and it is highly believed that former English captain won’t be asked for an extension by the club. The former defending partner of Terry David Luiz believes John terry deserves a new contract.

In champions league last night Chelsea were defeated by PSG 2-1 in away fixture and Blues captain was missing the match after suffering from an injury. David Luiz who scored against his previous team in same fixture last year believes his former captain deserves to be honored by a new contract.
Luiz said.” John is probably Chelsea’s greatest ever player, the club need to show him some more respect, He has been clear that he wants to stay at the club, and they are making him wait for an answer. That is not how you treat a player who has given you so much and been a big part of so much success. The fans love John – if this is not handled well, they are not going to be happy.”
