Franck Ribery’s injury absence covered well by Douglas Costa for Bayern Munich

Despite losing Franck Ribery through injury, Pep Guadriola has been getting the required services well from new signing Douglas Costa.

As Douglas Costa signed this summer for Bayern, the fans had expectation from the Brazilian with his reputation in Ukraine increasing hopes amomg the fans. And with Ribery set for stay on the sidelines because of injury, the stage was set for the pacy winger to make his mark. Costa was handed the number 11 shirt and was in the lineup straight away and showed the magic.

Costa troubled the opposing defenders with pace and trickeries as well as end product of assist and goals for the team. The brazilian was also called up into the Brazilian team for recent international break. With likes of robben and ribery getting older and having injury problems in frequemt times, the future of Costa is all clear and safe. Pep can expect much from him and the player will deliver as per it.
