Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson has sustained an injury in training which will keep him out of action for about two months. Henderson picked a foot injury in the training and will be unavailable for six to eight weeks according to the club.
With Academy product Jordan Rossiter given an outing in recent Europa Legaue fixture and Emre Can no longer playing as a center half, there are choices to be made by Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers.
Can, who operates as CDM normally played as a CB for Liverpool in last season’s end while the German International turned up as a Right Back in his international debut. Rossiter on the other hand is said to be replacement for Gerrard in the future as both came up from similar circumstances in Liverpool team.
James Milner is certain to start in that position with Lucas Levia an ideal option to play alongside. Players like Philippe Coutinho and Joe Allen are also probable candidates for the selection.
