After scoring an excellent chipped goal against San Marino, Harry Kane emulated Alan Shearer’ s celebration.
When England beat San Marino 6-0 away from home in the qualifying match of the EURO 2016, Harry Kane came off the bench to score a delicious lobbed goal after receiving an inch perfect pass from Jonjo Shelvey. Kane, who then celebrated with his left arm up high, similar to what Alan Shearer did in his playing days. Kane was quick to answer the queries in social media as he revealed about meeting Shearer. Kane said that Shearer met the English and Spurs forward few days ago and asked about not having any celebration. Kane answered Shearer in beat possible way i.e. by emulating former Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United striker’s trademark celebration.
Kane is yet to score a single goal with his club this season despite playing four matches but this goal will work as a great motivating factor, even if it was against a low key outfit San Marino. Spurs have Kane as the only out and out senior striker in the team.
