Paris Saint Germain have rejected two bids from Chelsea today as Portugese Manager looks desperate to bolster his defensive unit.
After a poor start to the season, Chelsea are preparing to make a massive change in their backline as they have conceded nine goals in four matches in the Premier League already. With the arrival of Baba Rehman being the only buy in the season, Chelsea made deadline day signing of Nantes defender Papy Djilobodji in order to bolster the defense in the first team. Kurt Zouma, Gary Cahill and John Terry were the only first team defenders while Branislav Ivanovic and Cesar Azpillicueta were the only wingbacks in the team.
But with the inclusion of Papy, Chelsea’s attempt to sign Marquinhos looks far. PSG have no intention to sell the defender as the Brazilian is young and was one of the most expensive defenders when he was signed from Roma. Chelsea sold David Luiz to PSG for record fee just a season ago.
