Nepal will open the tournament when they take on Bhutan in the group A match which will be played at ANFA technical center, Satdobato.

The tournament will be the first one hosted in artificial turf in Nepal as the renovated ANFA complex ground look to host its first major tournament.

The only national stadium in Nepal, Dasarath Rangashala has been effected by earthquake, unable to host any tournament until its renovation.

The tournament sees participation of six SAFF nations after Pakistan and Sri Lanka withdrew its involvement in the tournament.

Each three teams will be placed in a group where the first and second of the group will enter the semifinals of the tournament, while the final of the tournament will be played on August 29.

Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh are in Group A while, Afghanistan, India and Maldives will fight for their place in the semifinals in group B.

Bimal Gharti Magar will captain the team, while coach Bal Gopal Maharjan alongside assistant coach Sunil Shrestha will look after Nepal team which will be expecting nothing less than the title as they take on opponents in home ground.

The tickets price has been allocated to Nrs 300 for the VIP seats and Nrs 200 for normal seats.

The SAFF U19 Championship – Nepal U19 vs Bhutan U19 live Streaming match will be available in Kantipur Gold which will telecast every live matches.

Captain Bimal Gharti Magar believes that the team is capable enough to lift the title in front of home crowd. The team has been training together since a long time as we could mostly familiar faces that participated in the U16 SAFF championship and qualified for the AFC U16 championship final round.

All Nepal Football Association has decided to sell no more than 3000 tickets for each match.
