Matteo Kovacic on the verge of joining Real Madrid as Inter Milan accept £25 millions.

With no big signings made just yet, Real Madrid have acquired service of Matteo Kovacic from Inter Milan.

With Danilo and Kiko Casilla being the only notable signing made by Real Madrid, the list could get elongated after the arrival of Matteo Kovacic from Inter. The croatian international midfielder is said to be similar to Luka Modric and could finally play alongside him if the deal goes through. As per the sources in Italy, Inter have accepted the bid and Kovacic will leave for medical tomorrow.Kovacic’s arrival means Asier Illaramendi could be joining Liverpool who have chased him since long ago.

Inter Milan accepting loss of Kovacic also suggests that central midfielder Guarin could extend the contract with the club. For Real, the story of skipper Sergio Ramos signing an extension till 2020 has been a massive news. The contract means Ramos will still be the longest serving player in current squad
