Manchester City invite Chelsea to The Etihad as the teams meet each other in an English Premier League encounter.

Summer signing Fabian Delph limped off in the 18th minute of his debut and will be out of action for two months. Gael Clichy is also injured and will not be available for selection. Yaya Toure is a doubt after picking a knock but Manuel Pellegrini will field him despite lack of full fitness on a match of such importance. Sergio Aguero will start in place of Wilfried Bony and Zabaleta will remain in the bench.

Chelsea’s appeal to overturn Thibaut Courtois’ red card has been rejected by the FA and the keeper will not be available for selection for this match. Oscar is a doubt for the match and in case the Brazilian fails to make it, Juan Cuadrado is expected to fill in the place wide with either of Willian and Hazard playing No. 10 position.
