UEFA Champions League winners FC Barcelona and UEFA Europa League winners Sevilla FC play each other in UEFA Super Cup competition.
Jordi Alba is out injured and will not be available for the match while Neymar will not be included in the lineup as he is suffering from mumps. Jeremy Mathieu will start in place of Jordi Alba with Javier Mascherano start in the center half. Pedro could play his last game for Barca as he is consistently being linked with Manchester United. New signings Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan will not feature in the match as Barca are still serving transfer ban. Douglas is doubtful for the match and will start from bench.
Sevilla are suffering from injury problems with Nico Pareja and Daniel Carrico pick of the players. New signing Steven N’Zonzi will not travel with the squad following illness. Adil Rami could start from bench following an infection from virus. Midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak could shift to center half following injury to center backs.
