Former Liverpool target Xherdan Shaqiri might be signing for Stoke City after being spotted at The Britannia Stadium on Sunday.

The rumors on Shaqiri’s move to Stoke City could be true after the midfielder is spotted at The Britannia Stadium. Stoke City had bid for the Swiss International earlier in the window but the player’s demands were not met despite agreeing the fee with the club. According to Sky Italia, the clubs have agreed on a fee and the personal terms will now soon be finalized.

Shaqiri, who starred in 2014 edition of FIFA World Cup held in Brazil played for FC Bayern Munich a season ago. The transfer to Inter Milan did not turn out to be well and he made just handful appearance there. Shaqiri joins the likes of Bojan Krkic, who previously played for FC Barcelona, AC Milan and AS Roma. Mark Hughes is looking to make few more signings as Stoke look to better their premier league finish in upcoming season.
