Manchester United and PSG preparing for swap transfer deal between Angel Di Maria and Edinson Cavani

Angel Di Maria’s exclusion from Manchester United squad could mean he will be swapped with PSG’s Cavani in few days to come.

Manchester United are preparing to offload Angel Di Maria just after a season as Louis Van Gaal is looking to sign Edinson Cavani from PSG on a reported swap deal. With both players finding it hard to settle in, the move could possibly go ahead as the sides are in advanced talks.

Cavani is behind Zlatan Ibarahimovic in the pecking order of PSG and is mostly out positioned in the right side while Di Maria has failed to live the expectations and was forced to sit on bench behind Ashley Young last season. With signing of Memphis Depay done, Di Maria could be forced to leave or stay in the opposite side. Cavani has been long term target for United and if PSG are happy to make the deal, the players could change their shirt from next season.
