Manchester United complete transfer of Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich

Manchester United have signed German skipper and Bayern Munich midfielder subject to medical on Saturday.

Louis Van Gaal will be reunited with former employee Bastian Schweinsteiger as the Dutch manager has successfully signed German International midfielder from FC Bayern Munich. According to the sources, the clubs have agreed on a 20 million euros deal and will be flying to Manchester on Saturday. Bastian was absent in Munich’s player presentation as he already has accepted personal terms with Manchester based club. Schweini will be earning about 10 million euros per annum.

Schweinsteiger will be signing a three year deal with the club and could be announced along with Matteo Darmian. Darmian, the Italian International full back is undergoing medical and is said to have signed five year deal with the club. Memphis Depay has already started training after his move from PSV. Schweinsteiger has won 111 caps for Germany and has won all major trophies with club and country.
