Belgian International and Manchester City youngster Jason Denayer is set to sign a new contract with the Manchester based club.

Manchester City offer new deal to Jason Denayer after completion of Enes Unal's transfer.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is under huge pressure to retain Premier League crown they lost to Chelsea last season. In attempt to regain the title, there has not been much activity in the transfer market by the mega-rich club. Despite letting James Milner leave for free, City have signed young striker Enes Unal from Bursaspor of Turkey.

However, the emergence of Jason Denayer could be a key factor in the defensive reinforcements. With Dedrick Boyata’s departure to Celtic, Pellegrini has four center backs and all of them are on fight to start for the club. Denayer spent last season at Celtic and won PFA Young Player of the Year award and was excellent in recent Belgium International fixtures. City skipper Vincent Kompany labelled as the watch out talent for this season. Denayer is close to sign a long term deal to keep him at Etihad for at least five years more.
