Daniel David Katwal completes training with Manchester United Soccer School

13 year old Daniel, who was in Manchester for a week long training with Manchester United is set to return on second week of July.

Daniel David Katwal, Nepalese kid who went to Manchester United Soccer School has completed the training on a better note. The week long training ended on Saturday after a final day ceremony held at Old Trafford. Katwal was the only Nepalese involved in the training with youths of other 35 nationalities. Katwal will return to Nepal on the second week of July and continue to play at Nepal Football Academy under former skipper of Nepalese National Football Team Raju Kaji Shakya.

Speaking exclusively to GiveMeGoal, Daniel said that the experience was once in a lifetime. “I got to learn many things in this short visit. I feel i have got new techniques and developed balance in my game. The coaches taught us about team-work and working with new friends gave me a new experience.”, Katwal said.

Daniel said, “I learnt a lot about professionalism and new techniques in this stay. Knowledge about stamina and body balance really impressed me and i will implement in my daily activities.”

“I will continue to play under Raju sir in Nepal and develop myself. To have former skipper and one of the best coaches in Nepal guiding you is the best you could ask and i will make the chance count. I will try to play for age group teams and fight for my chance.”, added Katwal.

Daniel’s overall performance was awarded 8 out of 10 in soccer school by his coach Lee. Neel David Katwal, father of Daniel said that Daniel will continue to visit various academies looking upon his leisure time. Neel also confirmed that Daniel will be joining AC Milan’s soccer school later this year and have a go at Real Madrid’s training facility in years to follow.

His father also informed us that Daniel will go to the UK after his high school studies in order to continue professional football activities along with his education. According to his father, Daniel will stay with Neel’s godfather David Vinall on course of his pursuit of training and education.
