Arsenal are said to be on the verge of signing Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon as Arsene Wenger adds up firepower up front.

Arsenal closing in on Alexandre Lacazette transfer from Lyon as striker leaves France.

Olympique Lyon and French International Forward Alexandre Lacazette is set to sign for Arsenal in few days after the striker was not included in the first team to face FC Sion by the club. It is said that Arsenal were on talks to make a transfer bid and could agree the fee by this week. The player is eager to leave and is said ‘to hand a transfer request’ in case the club denies the move to go through. Wenger and co are certain to offer a pay rise and Lacazette is eager to join Premier League.

The French International started his career at Lyon and has not move elsewhere even on loan. The 24 year old forward has scored one goal in 8 appearances for the National team and has scored over 50 goals for Lyon in senor level.
