Italian International and Juventus Midfielder Andrea Pirlo is set to make debut in MLS with NYCFC.

Andrea Pirlo is set to debut for NYCFC from Juventus . Despite having last year on his Juventus contract, the midfielder wanted to move on to next step and leftthe club. Pirlo joined Juve from Milan and has spend successful years in Turin. Pirlo helped Juve to win domestic double and reach finals of UEFA Champions League, which they lost to Barcelona.

Pirlo willstart with David Villa and Frank Lampard in New York City FC and could play as soon as on 26th of July. Pirlo signed 18 months contract with further option to extend the deal for six months. Pirlo’s departure means either one of Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal will be staying in Juve despite talks of leaving the club.
