Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke snubs transfer bid from Barcelona

Spanish International and Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke has reportedly snubbed transfer offer from Barcelona and has opted to stay with the Madrid club.

Barcelona are serving transfer ban and are unable to sign any players until next window. But the ban has not stopped them to sign new players and they are singing players who will be able to join once the ban ends. Aleix Vidal’s transfer from Sevilla to Barcelona went through but the defender was loaned back to Sevilla and will be joining the Catalan club once the ban ends.

Despite snubbing a transfer offer last summer, Barcelona made an audacious bid to sign Koke but yet again, their hopes have been dashed as the midfielder has snubbed the chance. Koke’s agent Inaki Espizua revealed that the player is staying at Madrid and play under Diego Simeone for yet another season at least. The 23 year old Spanish International said that he was happy with the news but would not leave the squad just yet as he is enjoying his time with the squad.
